Know Stroke: Save a Life Event

On April 16, 2026, Boundless Health Club hosted a stroke awareness event at Oak Dearborn Park, a senior residence, in collaboration with Family Nurse Practitioner Sun from Omni Healthcare. The event had a wonderful turnout from the senior community, giving residents the opportunity to learn more about strokes and what to do if they or someone around them experiences one.

The presentation covered important topics, including stroke risk factors, signs and symptoms, prevention strategies, and additional resources available to support stroke patients. At the end of the presentation, Sun answered questions from residents, including topics like when they should take their medication and what steps they should take if they believe they are experiencing a stroke.

By the end of the event, residents had gained a deeper understanding of strokes and how to recognize their warning signs. Boundless Health Club is proud to have contributed to such a meaningful community health initiative, and we look forward to hosting more educational and community-driven events in the future.
